YSL Sephora Holiday Set Review!
A few weeks ago when my Sephora Holiday catalogue came, this is the main thing that caught my eye. Partly because of the full-sized Touche Eclat brightener/concealer which is one of those items that I've been eyeing for the longest time. But I can never justify becuase it's a hefty $40. I'd be lying if I said that the pretty YSL-logoed clutch bag it comes with was definitely a big part of why I bought this as well.

This was a no-brainer for me, because all of the items are things are very wearable. None of the items in the kit will go to waste-- I mean, I could always use another black mascara and liner! And the gloss is absolutely gorgeous. I love that it has the yummy watermelon-kiwi (-ish) scent like most YSL lip products do. It also is pretty long lasting for a gloss. I think that's because of the shimmer, which can actually be a bit gritty if you're not used to it. Plus, the Touche Eclat was something I had been lusting over for a while. Added up, the gloss and Touche Eclat are $69!! The kit was $60, so I felt like it was worth it. Plus, did I mention the bag is actually really nice? You could actually get away with carrying it as a clutch. And it's huge! Check out the size of it below-- much larger than I expected.

But being fashionable does not mean that we have to buy all the designers' hottest items, that I mentioned previously in our blog.
From the simple polo shirts, T-shirts, sweaters, jackets to jeans to suits, they are all there in every man's wardrobe, the only change in latest trends may only be few new funky colors and few statements. The trends change, but the basics always remain. So let look how we move on from here. The first step is to play with colors in your primary garments. For office wear, many men tend to choose black and white outfits, because these colors are simple, classic and "safe", but life is not about black and white.
Even though you insist on wearing black, you can add something else or other colors like navy blue, light gray an even purple. Besides wearing a suit or blazer, you can opt for cardigans, which have been popular for a few seasons. Pair a retro-style cardigan over a button-down shirt and tailored pants. For a more casual look, a polo shirt is the best choice, topping the list of shirts. Wear a polo shirt with jeans, or match it with zip-up or hooded jackets.

On Friday the 6th of november the Mercedes-Benz Dutch Fashion Awards were held for the 3rd time. Every year in November an international jury gives the Mercedes-Benz Award to the Dutch high-end fashion label which is most potential for the international fashion market.
This time the Award party was situated in the city of The Hague.
There were 5 Dutch fashion designers being selected with high potentials for the international industry; the nominees for 2009 were: Mada van Gaans, Iris van Herpen, Bas Kosters, Jeroen van Tuyl and Sjaak Hullekes
